Salon Project Reaches A Whole New Audience Online

Salon Project – chamber music in Melbourne, Victoria

Concorde Audio Productions recently had the opportunity to provide a full range of services for Salon Project, a Melbourne-based chamber music group, including live sound, video and streaming services, as well as end-to-end ticketing and event platform. It was a pleasure to work with such a talented group of musicians and to support live music during a period in which face-to-face performances simply weren’t possible due to pandemic restrictions.

First and foremost, we carefully considered the acoustics of the venue and selected appropriate microphones and stand placements to ensure that every note was heard in its purest form. Approaching the stream with techniques usually reserved for high-quality orchestral recording projects, we were able to capture the unique qualities of each instrument, and the final result was an unforgettable auditory experience.

Alongside the live sound, we also provided video production and streaming services. We worked closely with the chamber music group to create a visually stunning atmosphere that complemented the music being played. Using a combination of manually operated and robotic cameras, we were able to provide online viewers a sense of being in the audience – an experience many were craving after such a long time between live performances.

Finally, our ticketing and platform services helped Salon Project sell tickets to their concert, and provide a means for generating revenue when they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to. Our platform provided a seamless ticketing experience, allowing customers to purchase tickets online quickly and easily, helping Salon Project to focus on their performance, safe in the knowledge that their audience was being well-catered for.

We’re incredibly proud to have supported live music in a period of far too little of it, and by providing exquisite live sound, video and streaming services, as well as ticketing and technical support, we were able to deliver a truly unforgettable experience for both the audience and the musicians themselves. We look forward to working with more talented musicians in the future and continuing to push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of live music events.
