How preparation made a multi-day conference seamless
A major international organisation engaged Concorde Audio Productions to provide complete AV support for a customer event encompassing welcome drinks, a two-day conference and a concluding dinner.
Fast turnaround
The opening cocktail function followed another event in the same space, leaving only a short turnaround. Much of the AV system was assembled, configured and tested in advance, allowing complete racks and equipment packages to be wheeled into position and commissioned quickly.
Prepared before show day
Presentations were received and tested beforehand, visual assets were prepared as sequenced cues, and we worked with the client to develop the runsheet from a technical perspective. Presenter movements, microphone changes and playback were all considered in advance – avoiding fumbled microphone swaps or awkward pauses as executives took the stage.
Seamless delivery
Confidence monitors kept key talking points in front of presenters and helped sessions remain on time, while the pre-configured audio system delivered clear, intelligible speech throughout the room without wireless dropouts or feedback.
Conference to dinner
For the concluding dinner, much of the conference AV infrastructure remained in place while ambient lighting transformed the room into a more relaxed environment for delegates to dine and network.
An event that felt seamless to both the client and their guests – precisely because so much of the technical work had already happened before anyone entered the room.
