Compact Control and Video System Tours New Zealand

Our latest touring package has just landed in Aotearoa, on the road with Illusionist: Anthony Street after touring with Base Entertainment’s acclaimed Spellbound around Australia for the past three months. Bringing a streamlined production system designed specifically for fast turnarounds and international freight limits, the bulk of the setup travels in a single 6RU fly rack, yet delivers full control over audio, vision, and crew communication.

At the heart of the system is a custom-programmed control surface and show control network that allows a single operator to run audio, video and lighting cues. This unified control approach has been key in simplifying workflows during rehearsals and performances, particularly in venues with limited space or tight schedules.

A camera fitted with onboard lighting and a wireless SDI video link integrates seamlessly into the switching system, enabling dynamic live vision without being tied to a fixed position. This flexibility allows Anthony to bring close-up magic to full theatres with ease.

The team stays connected via a high-performance wireless intercom system – an essential tool for coordinating the many moving parts behind each illusion. With excellent range and long-lasting rechargeable batteries, the system has proven indispensable on the road.

With this proven system now supporting Anthony Street: Illusionist on tour, the team is able to focus on delivering amazing performances each night – not troubleshooting gear. It’s a compact solution built from real touring experience, offering the flexibility and reliability required for modern productions on the move.
